What You’ll Learn

Ten courses give you broad preparation to serve with confidence in diverse roles and contexts. You’ll begin by studying the fundamentals of supply chain management, including operating environments, business considerations, forecasting, inventory control and strategy. Applicants for the M.S. in Logistics and Supply Chain Management program must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution. We prefer (but don’t require) candidates with:

  • A minimum of two years of relevant work experience after earning the bachelor’s degree.
  • An undergraduate major in business. 
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 (on a 4.0 scale) for coursework within their major. 

To apply, please submit:

  • An online application. (There is a $50 nonrefundable application fee.)
  • Transcripts for all prior college- and graduate-level work. Copies can be uploaded with your application; official copies sent directly to the Office of Graduate Admissions will be required for admitted students.
  • A résumé detailing your work experiences and education.
  • An essay describing your potential for success in the program. 
  • Official English language test scores (TOEFL or IELTS; required only for international applicants whose native language is not English).

Georgia Southern is a military-friendly institution. Additional consideration is given to applicants with service in any military branch, reserve unit or National Guard (active, retired or with prior service; Form DD 214 #4 required).

International transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES-accredited evaluation service. The evaluation must be course-by-course and include a GPA.

Other Admission Criteria

A GMAT or GRE score achieved within the last five years may be required if you do not meet the above criteria. Deficiencies in GPA or work experience can be potentially alleviated by demonstrating an aptitude for the program via a strong score on the GMAT or GRE.

Students are admitted to begin in the fall, spring and summer terms. The deadlines are as follows: 

Fall – July 15

Spring – November 15

Summer – April 15
