Dual Enrollment
Dual Enrollment at Georgia Southern gives high school juniors and seniors a glimpse of college requirements and expectations. Participating students can explore a major and take classes at any of our three campuses, often at little to no cost.

Student Commons

Math Tutoring
Don’t let math anxiety get you off track. Peer tutors are available by appointment to provide assistance when you need it.
English Tutoring
Outline or flesh out an idea or improve your reading comprehension with a peer tutor’s support. Available by appointment.
Biology Tutoring
Solidify your understanding of basic biological concepts and more advanced materials with guidance from a peer tutor, available by appointment.

On-campus Military Resource Centers, fee waivers and scholarships are just a few of the ways we support our military-affiliated students. You can even get college credit for past military experience.
In-State Tuition & Fee Waivers
All active-duty military and their families attending Georgia Southern pay in-state tuition rates. In addition, we waive all fees for active-duty military.
Onsite Veteran Affairs Support Staff
We can help you complete paperwork, connect you with the Student Veterans of America, and make your college transition as smooth as possible through the Green Zone program.
Hinesville Business Incubator
Big ideas start in the Hinesville Business Incubator, a partnership among Georgia Southern University and local government and private groups. Backed by a state grant and know-how from our Business Innovation Group, this initiative helps entrepreneurs refine their concepts and boosts the region’s economy.
