Armstrong Campus in Savannah

Just minutes away from historic downtown Savannah and the beaches of Tybee Island, our close-knit, 268-acre liberal arts campus has become renowned for its programs in health care, the arts and coastal sciences.

Liberty Campus in Hinesville

At Georgia Southern’s smallest commuter location, everyone knows your name, whether you’re pursuing an associate degree, planning to transfer to Statesboro or Armstrong, or a military-affiliated student orchestrating the next stage of your career.

Athletics & Recreation

You don’t have to suit up for one of our NCAA Division I teams to get in the game at Georgia Southern. If you have a taste for sports, fitness, wellness or adventure, you’ll find plenty of ways to get active.

NCAA Division I Athletics

Most of our 17 varsity athletic teams compete in the Sun Belt Conference, and wherever they go, Eagle spirit follows. On campus, it crescendos in our 25,000-seat Allen E. Paulson Stadium, home to our three-time bowl-winning football team.

Campus Recreation and Intramurals

With fitness and recreation facilities that include everything from sand volleyball and tennis courts to 18 holes of golf and a shooting range, there’s always an activity or club team for testing your limits.
