What Can You Do with a DNP?
As the modern health care landscape continues to evolve, demand for nurses who hold their DNP has skyrocketed. In fact, there’s even a growing national movement to begin requiring the DNP as entry-level preparation for advanced practice nurses.
Earning your DNP trains graduates to deliver advanced levels of care as nurse practitioners and beyond, but the degree also equips nurses for leadership roles in health care administration, public health policy, academia and medical research. You could work in a number of high-impact roles beyond patient practice, including chief nursing officer, nursing professor, policy advisor, public health director, clinical researcher and more.
