What You’ll Learn

Follow these steps to complete the Georgia Southern application:
- Create an application account.
- Complete our online application using the PIN you received after creating your application account.
- Once complete, pay the $30 application fee or upload a valid fee waiver. Previous Georgia Southern applicants and dual-enrollment students do not need to pay the fee.
- You can check your application status at My.GeorgiaSouthern.edu/admissions three days after completing your application. This page contains live information about your admission status, including a checklist of missing documents we need to make a decision.
Applicants do not need to submit a portfolio to enter the BFA in Graphic Design program. Once enrolled, students must pass a portfolio review by the end of their second year to continue in the program.
Apply as a First-Year Student Transfer to Georgia SouthernThe Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art provides up to $20,000 in scholarships every year to current art and design majors, including six earmarked specifically for Graphic Design majors. Criteria for these competitive awards include academic achievement and creative performance.
Except where noted, all Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art scholarships require a minimum 3.0 GPA. Detailed step-by-step instructions are available on the University Scholarships website.
