How to Join the Georgia Southern Chapter of Sigma Xi
Sigma Xi offers two membership levels:
Associate Membership
For individuals who have contributed to an independent research investigation. Evidence includes:
- Scientific conference presentations
- Co-authorship on publications or theses
- Contributions to active research projects
Ideal for undergraduate and master’s students.
Full Membership
For individuals with noteworthy achievements as original investigators, demonstrated by:
- Issued patents or refereed monographs
- Primary authorship on at least two peer-reviewed publications
