The Office of Curriculum, Assessment and Initial Educator Preparation at Georgia Southern University’s College of Education plays a vital role in preparing candidates for success in the classroom and beyond. This office:
- Supports programs that lead to initial educator certification in Georgia
- Oversees assessment, program approval, accreditation, and accountability efforts within the College of Education
- Coordinates field experiences and clinical practice for all initial teacher education programs
- Facilitates international study opportunities tied to clinical practice and student teaching
- Manages the Clinical Associate and Clinical Supervisor programs, supporting high-quality mentorship and training
