Review All Application Deadlines

Some programs at Georgia Southern require secondary admission, meaning that the University may admit you, but you will still need to apply to your desired program. Review each program’s admission criteria or speak with an academic advisor at SOAR to learn more.

If you choose one of these programs on your undergraduate application for admission, we will initially assign you a different major with closely matched coursework.

Submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) is an essential step in securing financial aid for your education at Georgia Southern. The FAFSA® helps determine your eligibility for various forms of financial assistance, including grants, loans and work-study programs. By filling out the FAFSA®, you increase your chances of receiving the funds you need to make your academic goals a reality.

To ensure you receive the maximum aid you’re eligible for, you must complete the FAFSA® as soon as possible after its opening date each year. By submitting your application early, you’ll increase your chances of receiving the best financial aid package available.
