Daily Visits to Statesboro

Scheduling Your Visit

We offer campus visits Monday through Friday at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Your visit begins at Lewis Hall, home of the Office of Admissions, where you will meet with an admissions representative for a brief presentation about the university. Afterwards, our Southern Ambassadors will lead you on a walking tour of our beautiful campus. The walking tour will last approximately one hour and will include a tour of a model room in Centennial Place Residence Hall.

After walking for a bit, you’ll board the Southern Express to visit our state-of-the-art Recreation Activity Center and the “Prettiest Little Stadium in America,” Allen E. Paulson Football Stadium. The bus will bring you back to Lewis Hall to wrap up your two-hour tour experience.

Transfer Visits

These events are geared toward students looking to transfer to Georgia Southern from another college or university.

Our Transfer and Adult Admissions team hosts informative virtual sessions during your lunch hour! We will provide an overview of our 3 campuses and online programs, discuss support services, and review the admission process and requirements. Additionally, if you have previously attended any other colleges, we will review how to determine if your credits may be transferable! Our team also hosts in-person workshops or online webinars. Topics include EGSC transfer information meetings to hands-on application workshops. Transfer students are welcome to register for a daily campus tour but please note the presentation is focused on freshmen. Pre-registration is requested.
