All students in the program will receive support from mentors—someone who understands the college experience and is committed to your success. They’ll be your guide, your cheerleader, and your partner in navigating the exciting journey of college life.
Here’s how your mentor will help you soar:
- Personalized Goal Setting: Together, you’ll set achievable goals for independent living, academic excellence, social connections, and career development.
- Academic Support: Your mentor will be there to help you study, understand your classes, and build strong academic habits.
- Social Connection: Transitioning to college can be a big step. Your mentor will help you find your community, build friendships, and navigate social situations with confidence.
- Weekly Planning & Reflection: You’ll work together to create a schedule that works for you, and reflect on your progress, celebrating your achievements along the way.
With the support of your peer mentor, you’ll gain the confidence and skills to thrive in college and beyond. You’ll become part of a community that celebrates your unique strengths and empowers you to soar beyond your expectations.
