Exam Requirements
Applicants for the uniform CPA exam in Georgia must complete a baccalaureate degree from a nationally or regionally accredited institution that includes 20 semester hours in accounting subjects above the elementary level.
Licensure Requirements
Applicants for Georgia CPA licensure must complete at least 150 hours of college education, including a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution. Of those, 30 hours must be in accounting subjects above the elementary level and 24 hours must be in general business subjects.
