Follow these steps to complete the Georgia Southern application: 

  • Create an application account.
  • Complete our online application using the PIN you received after creating your application account.
  • Once complete, pay the $30 application fee or upload a valid fee waiver. Previous Georgia Southern applicants and dual enrollment students do not need to pay the fee.

While the BFSDoArt offers more than $20,000 in scholarships annually, Georgia Southern offers a multitude of other scholarship opportunities for first-time freshmen, transfer and continuing students who demonstrate strong academic and creative achievement across all three campuses.

Anna Kolesar Dorr Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Undergraduate (freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior) majoring in any subject housed within the BFSDoArt on the Armstrong Campus, shall be completing their degree primarily at the Armstrong Campus, 3.0 cumulative GPA, shall demonstrate financial need to retain the scholarship during their time at Georgia Southern and the BFSDoArt.

Eligibility: Undergraduate junior or senior majoring in art or music, demonstrate unmet financial need, good scholarship potential and/or ability.

Eligibility: Undergraduate Art, Fine Arts, or Art Education Major full-time enrollment.

Betty Foy Sanders Student Travel Fund Scholarship
Eligibility: Undergraduate and graduate BFSDoArt students enrolled in a Georgia Southern study abroad program. Applicant must have already applied for study abroad.

Charles and Jo Elliot Jones Visual and Performing Arts Scholarship
Eligibility: Undergraduate visual or performing arts major; rising sophomore, junior, or senior; actively involved with fine art department activities; full-time enrollment; grades considered.

Eligibility: Undergraduate visual art major, full-time enrollment, awarded to support conferences, research, and travel related to the student’s academic studies.
