NCAA Division I Athletics

Georgia Southern Athletics fuels the passion of Eagle Nation. With 17 varsity teams, most competing in the Sun Belt Conference, our athletes showcase excellence wherever they go—bringing the Eagle spirit with them. On campus, that energy reaches new heights in our 25,000-seat Allen E. Paulson Stadium, home to our three-time bowl-winning football team and some of the most electrifying game-day experiences in college sports.

Statesboro Campus

With more than 17,000 students and a wide range of degree programs and activities, our largest campus is the heart of a thriving — and growing — college town and also home to our NCAA Division I teams.

Just minutes away from historic downtown Savannah and the beaches of Tybee Island, our close-knit, 268-acre liberal arts campus has become renowned for its programs in health care, the arts and coastal sciences.

Additional Resources

While you take classes, you will need other services to support your success.  The bookstore has textbooks and other materials you’ll need and our IT team is ready to provide tech support and assist you as you navigate Georgia Southern’s online resources.  Our Dean of Students Office will assist you if you need to report any concerns or need assistance if you experience any challenges.  The Academic Success Center provides tutoring and other academic resources while military connected and veteran students will find unique resources just for you.

Student Union Facilities on the Statesboro and Armstrong campuses of Georgia Southern University provide opportunities for dining, student organization meetings, and other special events. These ‘living rooms’ of our campuses are also a place for you to relax, study, or visit with friends between classes.
