  • Complete our online application using the PIN you received after creating your application account.
  • Pay the $50 application fee or upload a valid fee waiver once complete. (Previous Georgia Southern applicants and dual-enrollment students do not need to pay the fee.)

Apply as a First-Year Student Transfer to Georgia Southern

We’re proud of the School of Accountancy’s  AACSB accreditation, a distinction only 5% of business schools achieve.

The Parker College of Business, School of Accountancy hosts  several student organizations, like Bi Alpha Psi and the Accounting Association.

The Graduate Student Organization (GSO) is committed to representing and supporting the interests of all current and prospective graduate students at Georgia Southern University and seeks to support scholarly activities as well as to promote social opportunities for the development of graduate students.

Electives courses include

  • Tax Research, Estate/Gift Taxes and Taxation of Pass-Throughs
  • Fraudulent Financial Reporting, Expert Witnessing and Fraud Cases
  • Voluntary Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Eagles on Pennsylvania Avenue
  • Operations Planning Analytics and Healthcare Administration

Federal Law requires colleges and universities to make certain disclosures to prospective students of these programs. These disclosures include information on the University’s authority to operate outside of Georgia, the complaint processes, adverse actions, refunds, and program closure.

The School of Accountancy has determined that the required classes and educational activities of this academic program will qualify a graduate of this program to take the exam for a Certified Public Account license in the 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and five U.S. territories: American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Georgia Southern makes every effort to ensure information about educational requirements for licensure or certification is current; however, state requirements may change. Separate from educational requirements, state licensure boards may require applicants to complete professional examinations, background checks, years of professional experience, residence requirements, jurisprudence exams, training, etc. If you are planning to pursue professional licensure or certification in a state other than Georgia, it is strongly recommended that you contact the appropriate licensing entity in that state to seek information regarding licensure or certification before beginning an academic program.
