Verify Your Tuition Classification

Tuition classification determines whether you are billed at the in-state or out-of-state rate. If you have been classified as an out-of-state student and believe your residency status may qualify you for in-state tuition, you may request a review of your classification.

Earn College Credit Through Exam Scores

Georgia Southern awards college credit for qualifying scores on several standardized exams, including Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), Cambridge AICE and the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP). Submitting official exam scores may allow you to receive college credit and begin your degree with completed coursework.

Request a Change to Your Primary Campus

If your plans have changed since applying, you may request to change the campus where you begin your studies. Georgia Southern offers multiple campus locations, and students can request a campus change if another location better fits their academic or personal needs.

Register for SOAR Orientation

SOAR, Southern’s Orientation, Advisement and Registration program, is designed to help new students transition successfully to college. During SOAR, students meet other incoming Eagles, learn about campus resources and register for their first semester of classes.
