Live in Freedom’s Landing
During the summer of 2023, University Housing and the Division of Facilities Services will be removing ceiling fans from the individual bedrooms in Freedom’s Landing and installing energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the complex. Ceiling fans will remain in the living room areas.

Purchased in 2011, Freedom’s Landing provides 976 first-year and upper-class students with a more independent style of living with the benefits and support of on-campus resources. Freedom’s Landing is also open to transfer and graduate students in 2-Bedroom, 3-Bedroom and 4-Bedroom units.

Rate information is available at gsuhousing.com/rates. Current year rates are posted and future year rates will be posted when approved by the University System of Georgia.
*Rates are per person per semester. An additional $20 Activity Fee is charged every semester. All rates are pending until approved by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia.
Students are required to respond to email or paper correspondence from the Georgia Southern University Office of Student Accounts, Financial Aid Office and/or Registrar’s Office regarding outstanding requirements for processing financial aid packages for payment on their account.
