Portions of Bulloch County are currently experiencing flash flooding causing travel issues. If you are traveling flood prone areas, you are urged to exercise caution and use your best judgment to ensure your safety and avoid being trapped in or near flooded areas.
Supervisors should be aware that some employees may have unexpected situations due to travel complications or property damage. Please be understanding and as flexible as possible, remembering that telework is an option for some staff. Employees should contact and work with their supervisors if they are unable to make it to campus. Faculty should work with students and offer flexibility by providing online learning options for students who cannot attend in person due to travel complications or property damage. Students should contact and work with their instructors if they are unable to make it to campus. If you find flooding or damage in a building on campus due to rain, please notify University Police immediately at 912-478-5234.
