National Cross-Cultural Counseling and Education Conference for Research, Action, and Change
Get ready for #NCCEC24!
Greetings,
The National Cross-Cultural Counseling and Education Conference for Research, Action, and Change (NCCEC) remains committed to holding space for professionals, educators, practitioners, students, and community partners to discuss vital topics around gender, race, ethnicity, ability, and other multidimensional aspects of humanity. Thank you for your continued support of this mission.
We do not take it for granted. While the past two conferences have looked different as a result of the pandemic, we embrace this vital period of transition. Due to the current allocation of resources available and commitment to ensure a meaningful experience for conference participants and the communities we serve, we’ve made the decision to restructure the conference to take place in early 2024 rather than the currently planned dates of February 1-3, 2023. Timing will reconcile academic and fiscal calendars for universities, schools, and community organizations. With this realignment, the NCCEC planning committee is intentional about reinvigorating the conference to strengthen its purpose and spread its mission.
A new call for proposals will open within the next few months. All recently submitted proposals will be honored and reviewed for the new conference dates. Additionally, we will issue a call for volunteers, exhibitors, nd sponsorships as we prepare to reconvene in 2024.
Should you have questions or concerns about these changes, or the conference in general, please contact the Conference Chair at crosscultural@georgiasouthern.edu.
We thank you for your commitment to the work of social justice and advocacy, and look forward to seeing you in Savannah, GA for NCCEC 2024!
Sincerely,
The NCCEC Planning Committee
